James Scott Rowe, of Ogden, passed away on August 8, 2018. He was born July 2, 1949, in Ogden, Utah, the son of Robert and Eleanor Laughter Rowe. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Scott married Carol Ann Clifford in 1981.

Scott retired from HAFB where he worked as a jet engine mechanic; after retiring he worked part time at CAL-Ranch.

He was a huge Bears fan, he enjoyed softball, riding horses, had a passion for pheasant hunting, camping and spending time with family. He took great pride in taking care of his yard.

Scott made friends wherever he went. He would do anything for anyone; he was kind and generous.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carol; and children, Waylon and Jessica.

He is survived by two daughters, Tesalee Rowe and Angela Lucus; five grandchildren: Kevin Proffitt, Chris Proffitt, Alicia Rowe, Jackson Lucus and Ava Lucus; and great- granddaughter, Raelee Proffitt. Also, survived by siblings: Doug (Karen) Rowe, Jeff (Lori) Rowe, Jolene (Eddie) Lomax, John Rowe and Rob Rowe.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 13, 2018, at 3:30 p.m. at the West Weber Cemetery, 4592 W. 950 N.

The family would like to thank Legacy House for their care of Scott.
